Awesome punk band that we have had the pleasure of playing with a number of times now, also the instigators of Skurvfest in 2010 which they invited us to play at.

Skurvi was conceived one glorious night in early 2008 over some cheap vodka and cider, by Liam (Bass) and Jimmy the Jip (Lead Vox when they wrote an ad: "awful singer and OK bassist looking to start a punk band", as a means to get free beer and easy birds. Three years on they have found that there is no such thing as free... beer!!

The Line up was completed when Wiggles (Drums) and The Perry-scope (Lead Guitar) answered their call and together they have been dragging the pissed up punters and empty pints along ever since.

Doctrine of Complicity

Doctrine of Complicity (DoC) are a dark alternative metal band from Littlehampton, West Sussex. Goth and prog influences abound in this group of five friends from the sleepy south coast town. Willingness to explore genres has led to diverse sounds from the alternative metal thrasher "Freak Out" to the melodic narrative of "Lost". Formed two years ago, the band quickly realised that creating original and challenging music was something they all wanted to do. The band were delighted to find that their vision was shared and a strong local following (known as the DoC Extreme) formed. Early gigs took them to the famous Dublin Castle in Camden and as far afield as Aberystwyth University.

The Band Assist web site said of DoC in their review "They innovate and create a mixture of genres, styles and textures to produce something very unique" and of the music "a real audio experiment that is bold, brave and very different."
